What does AI think about?

What does AI think about?

Have you ever wondered what AI 'thinks' about when it replies to your questions?

I am surprised so few people speak about this.

I have been using Grok 3 for the past month and have been impressed with what it can do and how well it responds to my queries, requests and ideas.

But there is one groundbreaking feature that seems to go mostly unnoticed.

What is it?

It's the way Grok displays its 'Think' mode.

In ‘Think' mode, Grok allows users to view its internal reasoning process before delivering the final answer.

You can expand the ‘thinking' box and watch Grok’s ‘thought process’ unfold in real time as it constructs the answer to your question.

Doing that helps to better understand where the answer came from and also appreciate its robustness.

Sometimes, I even find surprising and original insights that are then not part of the final answer.

The speed at which this ‘thinking’ happens is also incredible.

Have you ‘peeked under the hood’ of an AI model in this way? What do you think?
